Easy DIY Installation

Measure

Firstly, take measurements of your pets. This is done to see where you will need to put the template on your door. Now that the template is placed, mark with a pencil on your template where you will be making your cuts.

Cut

Take your drill and use it to create holes in the 4 corners of your template. Next, take your jab saw or jigsaw and follow your pencil markings, creating your dog door opening, with your drilled holes being the beginning points.

Install

Take both sides of your dog door and place them inside of where you made your cutout. Take your clamp and use it to secure them tightly together. Next, drill holes for the screws around the top, bottom and sides of the overlapping sleeve joints of the external and internal frames.

Seal

Apply a silicone bead to cover the outer frame of your dog door, on both the outside and the inside. Another bead of silicone should be applied where the overlapping has stopped. Let 2 hours pass, and then the clamps can be removed.
