I absolutely adore this company and their product, but there’s no denying that the batteries are a major letdown. Despite my exhaustive search for better alternatives, it’s frustratingly evident that the collar is intentionally restricted to these specific batteries. Priced at $12.00 each, it transforms into quite an expensive ordeal, draining us of a hefty $100.00 every year, solely on batteries for our two dogs.

We do offer a battery plan to help with the cost of batteries (reg. $11.95 battery plan $9.95) and to make sure you are only getting them when they are needed. I wish I had read this review on the battery plan..I just ordered 3 batteries..Two before this with customer service..Never a mention of this plan..Love the system..Second fence with an up grade from before. Takes a load off my mind for safety!!

The batteries only last a month with my dogs, I have three dogs on this system, and it is so expensive to change three dogs every month. No coffee for me ever!
