Bravo® LLC issued a recall on May 31, 2011, of its Bravo® Pig Ears Dog Chews shipped between 1/1/11 and 2/28/11 to retailers on both the East and West Coast. The recall was issued due to possible Salmonella contamination and includes Bravo!® 50-count bulk Oven Roasted Pig Ear products with a product code of 75121 and lot number of 120610. The recall was initiated after a routine sampling by the Washington State Department of Agriculture detected the bacteria in the finished product.
